Gerrit was influential in our move to San Francisco
in 1969. I met him when I was a psychiatric nurse in Philadelphia. My condolences to Sandy and his whole family on this anniversary

It was always a good time being with Gerrit and Sandy. We had a lot of fun in Philadelphia. I sold him my first motorcycle a Yamaha big bear scrambler--which he took to San Francisco. We followed shortly thereafter.

I remember Gary and Sandy and Molly and Andy with great fondness. We were both working in the psychiatric field for many years

I just read about Gary's passing in my alumni magazine from the University of Pennsylvania. I am thinking of you and your family at this difficult time. I feel that you and Gerrit were instrumental to our coming to San Francisco. I cannot believe that it has been 50 years since we arrived here in the summer of 1969
Thank you
