I remember Ruth from our art related days beginning in the early 70's when we lived in Marin. I connected with her later when we were both living in the East Bay, she in Oakland, me in Point Richmond. In front of my fireplace are some metal butterflies on thin rods that she made for me. They have rusted. She has passed. I remember her laugh. -Olene Sparks
