Jane Conley Obituary

Aug. 12, 1921 - June 1, 2013
MISHAWAKA - Jane Conley, 91, passed away at 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2013, at the Golden Living Center, Mishawaka. Mrs. Conley was born on August 12, 1921, in Salyersville, KY, to the late Adam and Rosa (Allen) Miller. She moved from Kentucky to our local area in 1940. On May 25, 1940, in Knox, IN, she married Floyd Conley, who preceded her in death on March 2, 1975. Three sisters, Frances VanDeVoorde, Madeline Personette and Meda Owens, and her son-in-law, Charles Thomas, also preceded her in death. Mrs. Conley retired in 1975 from Uniroyal Corporation. She is survived by her two children, Patricia Thomas of Mishawaka and Michael (Susan) Conley of Lakeville; three grandchildren, Sean Michael Conley, Amanda Jane (Chris) Phillips and Shelly Ashley; one great-grandson, Caleb Paul Phillips; and one brother, Adam Miller Jr. of Edwardsburg, MI. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at the Palmer Funeral Home, 314 S. Michigan Street, Lakeville. Rev. Vito Rulli, pastor of Lakeside Baptist Church, will officiate. Graveside services and burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. Friends may visit with the family two hours prior to services on Wednesday at the funeral home. Contributions in memory of Jane Conley may be donated to the charity of the donor's choice. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.palmerfuneralhomes.com.
