Carol Sylvia Obituary

DARTMOUTH — Carol Ann Sylvia, age 60 years, died Saturday, August 2nd at home with her loving family present. Carol was the sister of Marie Antoinette "Toni" Jacintho of Rotonda West, FL, Brenda Souza of New Bedford, and the late Michael Sylvia. She was the sister-in-law of Beth Sylvia of New Bedford. She is also survived by several nephews, a great niece and 3 great nephews.

Ms. Sylvia was the daughter of the late Mary (Lawrence) and Joseph V. Sylvia Jr. She was born in New Bedford, and lived in this area all of her life. Carol enjoyed painting, bowling, and going to her day program. She will be greatly missed by her extended family at Skyline Drive, North Dartmouth.

In accordance with her wishes she will be cremated. At the families request services are private.

In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to Seven Hills Foundation, C/O Carol Sylvia, 4 Skyline Dr., Dartmouth, MA 02747, or the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701, or the Southcoast Hospice, PO Box 3000, New Bedford, MA 02741-9985.
