June Greenlaw Obituary

ROCKLAND — June A. (McKenzie) Greenlaw, 92, of Rockland, died on Monday, April 27, 2009, at the South Shore Hospital.

She was born in Portland, Maine, daughter of the late Thompson T. and Florence (Hopkins) McKenzie and was raised and educated in York, Maine. She has made her home in Rockland for more that 50 years. June was a longtime member of the Channing Unitarian Universalist Church in Rockland.

Wife of the late Robert E. Greenlaw, she is survived by her children, Susan A. Villa and her husband, James of Rockland, Judith A. Greenlaw and her special friend, Linda Taylor of W. Wareham and Thompson T. Greenlaw and his fiancée, Kimberly McAllister of Wayland. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Andrew and his fiancée, Elizabeth Thompson of Waltham, Robert and his wife, Sheila of Shrewsbury and Kelli Greenlaw of N. Chelmsford.

Calling hours will be held in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union St., Rockland on Friday, May 1, 2009, from 5-8 p.m. A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be on Saturday, May 2, 2009, at 10 a.m., in the Channing Unitarian Universalist Church, 45 Webster St., Rockland. After cremation, burial will be in Spring Lake Cemetery in Rockland.

Donations in her memory may be made to the Channing Unitarian Church.
