I taught with Paul at North Jr. High. He came to West Jr. High as Assistant Principal in 1970 and I was in the Guidance Dept. So sorry to hear this sad news. George McSherry ( Kingston, MA)

I was truly shocked to hear of Mr. P's passing. He was my "golf season substitute teacher" for years, a great friend, a better gentleman and i and my students will sorely miss him. If anyone reads this and knows of some way that i can show my appreciation to the family, i would love to do so.
I am a better person for knowing him. God please be with him and his family.

I am shocked to hear of Mr. Podolsky's passing. I saw him 2 weeks ago and he was his usual, outgoing, pleasant self. He stopped by Hoggard HS to see when he was subbing next. I also saw him working out at the gym the week before. I always enjoyed our conversations together. He was inspirational gentleman!
He will be terribly missed at Hoggard High School and in Wilmington, NC. May God bless Paul and his family!

I was a student at North Jr. High School in the mid 60's when Mr. Podolsky taught there. He was a good teacher and a favorite of mine. My sincere condolences to your family.

Many years ago, I taught at North Junior High School. Paul was my department chairman. He was tough but fair. I learned how to be a teacher from him. My condolences.
