Brian Moriarty Obituary

Brian Thomas Moriarty, 47, of Maynard, formerly of Somerville and Hanover, died suddenly May 5, 2016. Born in Boston, May, 7, 1968, Brian was the second beloved child born to John and Lorraine Moriarty, of Plymouth. Brian was a loving brother to Chrissy Mohr and her husband John of Plymouth and Debbie Moriarty of Quincy. Brian often considered himself a thorn between two roses. He was an outstanding and fun-loving uncle to Dan and Aidan Mohr of Plymouth. Brian grew up in Hanover, attended BC High and then went on to graduate from Assumption College in Worcester, where he made lifelong friends. Brian was quick with a story from his college days and always willing to be there when needed. He loved camping trips to the White Mountains, taking in a Red Sox game and hiking. However, there was nothing more that he loved than his two little girls. He loved making them happy and seeing a smile on their faces. Brian was funny, kind and patient. Brian is survived by his two little girls Madelyn and Molly who love him dearly; husband to Jessica (McDermott) who will miss terribly. Brian will be remembered as an adoring and devoted father, loving brother and uncle, great friend and family member. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Homes, 551 Washington Street, Rte 53, Hanover, on Friday, May 13 from 4-7 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church, 392 Hanover St. Rte. 139, Hanover, on Saturday, May 14, at 10 a.m. Interment will be at a later date.
