Dear Eddie, Gerry, Jimmy and Bobby and your families:

I'm truly sorry about the loss of your mother. Mary was such a glamorous, adventurous and lovely woman. Today's service was so touching, and I could see how loved your mother was by her family and friends. All of the grandchildren and great-grandchildren are so beautiful, and Mary will go on through them. I feel fortunate that our parents had such a close friendship for so many decades, and I have many happy memories of your parents (and you as well) on Ridgeway Street.

My love to all,
Joanne Doggart
