Charles Lowe Obituary

BOILING SPRINGS, SC-- Charles William Lowe, Sr., 82, of 102 Bellview Drive, died on Saturday, February 3, 2007 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. He is the husband of Maria Simmons Lowe of the residence and the son of the late Claude Clement Lowe and Sally Davis Lowe. He was a WWII Navy Veteran where he served on a destroyer escort in the Pacific. He was a member at Boiling Springs First Baptist Church where he was a former deacon and Sunday School Teacher. He had earned an associate degree at the Robinson Business College. He was retired from Thomas and Howard.In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons, Charles W. Lowe, Jr., of Spartanburg, and Michael Simmons Lowe of Spartanburg and by four grandchildren, Charles W. Lowe III of Spartanburg, Megan Elise Lowe of Wilmington, N.C., Caitlin Michelle Lowe of Raleigh, N.C., Ashleigh Brooke Tinsley of Spartanburg, S.C. He was predeceased by two sisters, Kathryn L. Pettit and Earline L. Lee and by a brother, C.C. Lowe, Jr.Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at Boiling Springs First Baptist Church officiated by the Dr. James Crocker and Dr. Hank Williams.
