Gordy, I was saddened to hear of your dads passing. First met him when we played small fry football and eventually reconnected during my brief employment at Ward LaFrance. Always a well respected businessman and a true gentleman. Nancy and I send our sympathy and prayers to you and family.

I grew up watching Uncle Bud care for Aunt Winnie. I thought everything that he did for her was normal and expected. He obviously did too. He happily did everything for her, and never blinked an eye or hesitated to do any of it. I have since spent my entire adult life working in healthcare. I have NEVER encountered anyone who cared for anyone the way Uncle Bud cared for her. He was truly an amazingly caring and dedicated man. I wish I had a chance to spend more time with him as an adult. I would have loved to thank him for all he did. Unfortunately our lives took us in separate directions and I never had that chance. So thank you Uncle Bud for all you did for our family. You are truly appreciated and loved. God bless you and all of your family. My deepest condolences to all of you.
