Patricia Ameigh Obituary
Elmira - Age 76 of Elmira died Friday July 17, 2020 at home peacefully surrounded by her family. She is survived by her loving spouse, Gary Mekos; children, Charles (Regina) Lisk, FL, Shelly (Art) Lisk, Elmira Heights, Lucille (Allen) McCombs, Tammy (Lee) Krathwohl, Linda (Michael) Lisk, all of NC; 26 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; sister, Janice West, Newark, NY; several nieces, nephews and cousins; beloved friend, Diane Simons; faithful canine buddy, Tanner; predeceased by her parents, Laura & Clifford Ameigh; sisters, Marjorie, Joanne, and Linda. Pat retired from North American Van Lines, enjoyed pencil coloring, playing skat & scratch off tickets, going to yard sales and spending time with her family. She is a member of the Horseheads Eagles Club. Let it be known to the world you were a mother, to our family you were the world, Mom you will be greatly missed. At her requested there will not be any calling hours or funeral service. Burial at the convenience of the family in West Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery, China Grove, NC. Arrangement have been entrusted to the Kalec Funeral Home.

WHILE I NEVER GOT TO KNOW PAT, I CAME TO KNOW HER THROUGH HER DAUGHTER, SHELLY. SHELLY, ART, AND CHRIS ARE OUR NEXT DOOR NEIGHBORS. I KNOW HER PASSING WILL BE VERY HARD ON THEM ALL. EVEN THOUGH YOU KNOW IT'S COMING, AND YOU HAVE PREPARED YOURSELF, A FAMILY IS NEVER READY TO LOSE THEIR MATRIARCH. GODSPEED PAT. SHELLY, TO YOU AND YOUR SIBLINGS, YOU HAVE MY SINCEREST CONDOLENCES. YOU WILL ALL BE TOGETHER AGAIN ONE DAY. BE THANKFUL THAT SHE DID NOT HAVE TO SUFFER. GOD BLESS YOU ALL...
