Caroline Ameigh Obituary
A Mass of Christian Burial for Carol will be held at 11AM on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church - 1709 Wyatt Ave, Stevens Point. Rev. Jeffrey Hennes will officiate. Friends and family may gather to share memories from 10-10:45AM on Wednesday at the church. Burial will be held at Guardian Angel Cemetery.
Carol was born on May 16, 1926; the daughter of the late Leo and Elizabeth Hintz.
Carol had married her high school sweet heart, Rex Ameigh, which lead up to a sweet 70 years of marriage. Rex had passed away in June of 2016.
A life-long resident of Stevens Point, she was an avid bridge player in the community. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, and loved going to the casino.
Survivors include: one son Don (Mary) Ameigh, Arkansas; one daughter Mary (Ron) Knuth, Wisconsin Rapids; 10 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by 4 sisters, Esther Martini-Mason, Joan Polebitski, Florence Haley, and Lucille Chapman, and one grand daughter Grace Ameigh.
