Jerry Ameigh Obituary
He was born on July 29, 1972, in Hempstead, New York to Jerry Donald Ameigh, Sr. and Dorothy Ann (Horn) Ameigh. When Jerry was young his family moved to Coffeyville where Jerry grew up and attended school, graduating from Field Kindley Memorial High School.
Most of Jerry's career was in in grounds and building maintenance in the Coffeyville area until becoming disabled.
On December 12, 2017, he married Felicia "Tink" Shipman in Coffeyville. Following their marriage they made their home in Coffeyville.
Jerry enjoyed working on small engines, going fishing, attending stock car races and going to the Inter State Fair demolition derby.
Survivors include his wife Felicia "Tink" Ameigh of the home; daughter Gabrielle Smallwood of Emporia, Kansas; his sister Jennifer Lynn Ameigh; two half-brothers Jerry James Ameigh and Dennis Lee Ameigh; and two half-sisters Sandy Marie Ameigh and Laverna Ruth Ameigh; and three nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two children.
Following Jerry's wishes, cremation will take place under the direction of the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. His family will celebrate his life at a later date.
