I can't believe Dr. and Mrs. Arner are gone from our world, but I know they are in Heaven and I know they enriched the lives of so many of us still walking this land. I am indebted to Dr. Arner for what he enabled me to do and for his unwavering support, friendship, and goodwill. What a fine example of a caring and sharing man. I thank God that he allowed me to experience Dale and Julie in my still formative years - a wonderful gift that lives on in my heart and mind.

Dale opened the door to my professional life in wildlife conservation. He provided that guidance to many others that have applied his anchor to their biological excellence. He and Julia are much loved and appreciated for all they have been to all of us.
