Beverlee Fisher

Beverlee Fisher, 72, of Ocean Grove, N.J., formerly of Short Hills, N.J., and Livingston, N.J., passed away Aug. 13, 2013. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, Aug. 15, at 11:30 a.m. at King Solomon Cemetery located at 550 Dwasline Rd. in Clifton, N.J. For further details, please call J.L. Beverlee was known in the Short Hills and Livingston area for her expertise in interior design, as she was the principal of Beverlee Fisher Designs of Short Hills. She closed the doors of her design business in 2000, after 20 years, and began a new chapter in her life. Beverlee acquired and rehabbed homes in the same communities where she had previously done design work. She acted as general contractor, utilizing the talents she learned as a designer. Most recently, Beverlee assisted her son in his architectural practice. She is survived by her husband, Herb; daughter, Dara Dubinet; son, Daniel Dubinett; son, Steven Fisher, and daughter, Marjorie Scherr. Also surviving are her sister, Susan Stier, and grandchildren, Jada, Gabriel, Rafael, Lohanna, Derek, Jody, and Allison. She was predeceased by her son, Robert Fisher, and brother, Irwin Pines.
