Jerry Creech Obituary
CLINTON -- Mr. Jerry Elmond Creech, 68, of 1816 Keener Road, died Tuesday, August 4, 2009, at his home.
The funeral will be held at 2 PM Friday, August 7th, at Mary's Chapel Baptist Church, 2230 Keener Road, Clinton, NC, with Dr. James G. Knox and Reverend Jerry Parsons officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park.
Mr. Creech, born in Johnston County, was the son of Eunice Johnson Creech Pope and the late Ollie Edmond Creech. He was a poultry producer and a member of Mary's Chapel Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years Carolyn Lewis Creech of the home; a son, Richard Creech and wife Lara Caldwell Creech of Wallace; a daughter, Lynn Creech Braxton and husband Joey Braxton of Greenville; his mother, Eunice Johnson Pope of Clinton; two sisters, Barbara C. Eanes and husband Kenneth of Clinton and Joyce Creech Pulley of Pine Level; four grandchildren, Caitlyn and Wesley Braxton, Rance and Mary Kellan Creech.
The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Thursday, August 6th, at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home and other times at the home.
