Dear Pat, Herb and sons and the entire Roden family
Although I had read about the accident I did not connect it to Lisa Pfeffer until my daughter Kathy called.
It brought back many memories of the Pfeffer kids and Sevey kids playing together since we lived across the street in Tonka Bay.
May the Lord give you comfort and peace as only He can and bless all of you.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Lisa's passing. While it had been years since we last had contact, she and I had been best friends growing up across the street from each other in Tonka Bay. I have many wonderful memories of our childhood together. Mine and my families thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dear Roden and Pfeffer family,
My heart aches.
Words cannot truly describe Lisa's loving spirit and how much she means to me. Lisa is my best and dearest friend.We met when we were 13. Growing up together, through adulthood, marriage and motherhood. We shared our joys and sorrows.
Lisa had an unending compassion for people and she shared her time and talent in her many roles of service to others.
Her passion for life, her family, and God were evident in the way she lived her life. She was someone I always admired and she inspired me spiritually, personally and creatively.
I was looking forward to growing old with her. Going to flea markets, garage sales talking about our grand children, and working on our many unfinished art projects together.
I feel truly blessed to have had Lisa in my life. I will cherish my memories of Lisa and remember her loving and joyful spirit always. I will miss your smile Lisa.

Lisa was a wonderful women, she touched so many peoples lives. I have so many happy memories of her. Her kind words and giving spirt; made you feel like the most important and interesting person that she had ever met. She gave more of herself then anyone I know or knew. She is and will be missed greatly.

Dan, Our dear friend. We're still in shock. It's so hard to comprehend the events that took place. Lisa was truly a person we all admired. She lived her life with purpose, sharing the gifts God gave her with every one she knew and loved.

I worked with Lisa last year at Scenic Heights, and my interactions with her will most certainly impact my teaching for many years to come. I'm so very sorry for your family's sudden loss. Lisa always inspired me to try and be the patient mother my challenging daughter deserves. My deepest sympathy for your loss. Lisa was always willing to help me when I needed help at scouts. She will be greatly miss by us in Troop 424. I will miss the talks we had and I will have fond memories of her.
