Mark Braun Obituary

Mark "The Handyman" Braun, 65, of Cedar Point passed away as a result of heart failure on September 11, 2025.

Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no services. The Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle has been entrusted with his arrangements.

Mark was born in New Bedford, MA on August 20, 1960 to Wayne and Elizabeth (Mustafa) Braun. He enjoyed working with his hands and most recently owned and operated his handman business. Mark had many struggles, especially after the passing of his mother, with whom he resided. His family would like to thank the residents of Cedar Point and elsewhere who checked in on him and assisted in many ways. Your kindness is very much appreciated and will not be forgotten.

Mark is survived by his sister, Kristine Peshel, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Memorials may be directed to the Cedar Point Fire Department.
