We always enjoyed talking to Joe at family gatherings. He was smart, funny, interested in what you had to say and genuinely nice! We will miss him.

I knew Joe through bird watching and served with him for years on the board of the Golden Triangle Audubon Society. In my opinion, he was the best president our group ever had, always on top of things, always involved. I knew him as a devoted husband, a good friend and a very kind man and I will miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with Joe's family.
