Matthew Scott Evanoff

Littleton, CO - Matthew Scott Evanoff, 56, of Littleton, CO passed away peacefully on Friday afternoon April 30, 2021, due to Covid-19 related respiratory issues.

Matthew was born in Salem, Oregon on October 4, 1964, to the proud parents Ben and Donna Evanoff. Matthew was raised in the Salem area and attended Middle Gove Elementary Grade School, Waldo Junior High School and Douglas McKay High School.

As an adult Matthew found his passion working with food which eventually led him to become a Chef within the downtown Denver Westin Hotel. Matthew truly excelled as a Chef, he was very proud of the title he had earned and shared his passion, and food, with many friends and family over the years. Matthew formed deep and lasting friendships in both Oregon and Colorado, the two states he resided in during his short life of fifty-six years, he will be missed by so many.

Matthew was preceded in death by his father Ben, and son Nathan. He is survived by his son Alex Walker, grandson Benjamin Evanoff, mother Donna Evanoff, sister Laurie Abbott, brother Anthony Evanoff, nieces Ashley and Macy Evanoff and other family members throughout Oregon respectfully.

Services for Matthew will be held Saturday, June 5, 2021, at 2:00 pm by beloved pastor, John Lipton.

What a terrible loss of this young man. Covid changed the world. So sorry covid caused loss among his friends, family across the states of Oregon and Colorado. Prayers for loved ones to find strength in each other.
