Michelle was truly an angel! I had the opportunity to know Michelle through our work and her support of women with breast cancer; there is no one like her. She was truly a one-of-a-kind amazing women and will be sadly missed.

How sad that we have all lost such a dear angel! I met Michelle in the early nineties and worked with her a long time while working with breast cancer survivors at St. Luke's Hospital. I could call her with any problem, and she was always so eager to help ease the patient's concern or problem. She sincerely loved everyone she met and showed her love in very real ways. Everyone loved Michelle. If everyone she met felt such a deep connection with her, I can only imagine the pain of loss for her family. I am deeply sorry.

I am so, so sorry for your loss. Chellie's passing is a tremendous loss for everyone whose life she touched. A friend of every living being, from large to small, Chellie defined compassion.
I have so many great remembrances of Chellie that I wouldn't know how to limit it to only a handful. As often happens in life, Chellie and I lost touch with each other several times over the past 20 years or so but when we managed to reconnect it always seemed as though we had just seen each other the day before. In fact, the last time I spoke with her was about two years ago when I was dealing with an issue and despite the years that had passed, knew exactly where to turn. Chellie was the first person I called for the support I needed. Such was her heart.
Unfortunately our paths have not crossed in the past few years causing me to miss this devastating news until today. Anyone who had the pleasure of getting to know this angel on earth knows what a terrible loss this is to all of us.
My sincerest condolences to the Casey family. Chellie has been and will remain in my heart forever.
Rest in peace.

Michelle touched the lives of everyone who crossed her path. She loved people, all people, and held each of their stories close to her heart. She would gaze into the eyes of those around her and listen...truly listen. Souls touched in those sacred connections and memories were created within each of us who are missing and loving her now. Michelle was a soul sister and my life is forever changed by walking these last 20 years with her. Rest well, my soul sister...I love you!

I knew Michelle for 11 years through her involvement in breast cancer activities, particularly as she brought Circle of Hope Bracelets to sell at Medical West. We became fast friends over the years and I was constantly saddened when she was unable to have any permanent recovery in a deteriorating medical condition. Michelle was such a dear heart in so many ways, but so very special to me. After 23 years of my volunteering for cancer organizations, last year I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Even though I had many resources in the breast cancer community, I immediately called Michelle for her knowledgeable, objective and caring advice, which never failed to be excellent. She was there for me with her caring presence every step of the way through my surgery and chemotherapy. As her condition worsened in recent months, I tried to be there for her as much as she was there to help me, but God's plan was to have her join him, and now she is at peace.

Michelle was my birthday angel. The almost twenty years I knew her were very special to me and several members of my family. We loved and wanted her here on earth. But God
wanted this special ANGEL with Him. The ten years we spent together with our Women In Common Breast Cancer Support Group was so
special to me a so many other ladies. REST IN PEACE MY BEAUTIFUL BIRTHDAY RED HEAD ANGEL.

To all of the Caseys: Having spent many a slumber party at your house, I have so many fond memories of all of you, especially Meg and Marilyn. But I remember Shelly a lot because we drove her to pre-school on our way to Rosati. She was a doll then, and based on other rememberances, I can see that she grew into an angel. My prayers go out to all of you. Hugs to all!

I am a surgeon at Christian Hospital who has had the privilege of working with a number of breast cancer patients during my career. What a brave and strong group of people they are. I was so happy when I could refer them to Michelle, because I knew she would love and care for them during this vulnerable phase in their lives. Everyone returned to tell me what a blessing she had been for them. I was so impressed, that when my own Mom had a mastectomy I made sure she went to Michelle, and she loved her too. Michelle, you have been a healing soul, and will be sorely missed. Dr. Jay Jensen

Sincerest sympathy and prayers for your loss. Michelle was one of the most genuinely kind and caring persons I have met during my many years in oncology. She regularly came to our breast cancer support group at St Luke's Hospital. Not only as a bra fitter, did she make each woman's specific needs as her personal problem to solve, but she looked for ways to address other needs by networking throughout the cancer community. As a fellow Rosati alumni, I really respected her and missed connecting with her after I retired. Heaven claimed one of its precious angels too soon for the rest of us. I will be unable to celebrate her life with you on Sept 6 but know that my prayers with be with you.

Shocked and saddened to see this today. I have so many fond memories from our days at Rosati and so many laughs. The sun is shining a little less brightly today but heaven has certainly gained one sweet angel. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of the family.
