Chris Pashby Obituary
Chris was born Sept. 13, 1956, in Saginaw, a daughter of Harold and Mary (Aelick) Scott. She graduated in 1974 from Eisenhower Schools in Saginaw. She later went on to obtain her medical assistant's certification from Ross Medical Training. Chris worked as a medical assistant at West Michigan Cancer Center, and previously at Three Rivers Health.
In 1975, Chris married Rick Bolla. They were later divorced.
On Oct. 28, 1989, she married Marc Pashby in Three Rivers. Chris enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all.
Surviving are her husband, Marc Pashby of Three Rivers; children Jessica Miles (Todd Evans) of Centreville, Zachery (Miranda) Bolla of Howe, Ind., Lisa Pashby of Three Rivers and Christine Pashby of Three Rivers; grandchildren Kate Miles, McKenna Bolla, Sophia Bolla, Tayah Pashby and Alise Roberts Pashby; great-grandson Daylan Coley; sisters Deb (Jeff) Schatzer of Traverse City and Pam VanVliet of Grandville; and her dog, Bert.
Preceding Chris in death were her parents; in-laws Donna and Ed Truckenmiller; and her dog Ernie.
Cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends will be received noon-2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, with religious services following at 2 p.m., at Eley Funeral Home in Centreville. Pastor Donna Holcomb of Helmer United Methodist Church will officiate. Interment of ashes will follow in Prairie River Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Joseph County Animal Control, c/o United Way.
