I am so very sad that I will not be able to bring my own children to this wonderful, warm and trusted man who worked wonders on our own smiles years ago. He is the first person I thought of when looking for someone to trust with my own children.

Just found about this today from my dentist. Dr T was my orthodontist from about 1981-1987 (yes, I wore my braces for a LONG time). Always remember him to be kind and a gentlemen. Wonderful office staff during my time there.

Just heard this very sad news today from a cardial student. My sister and i had dr tight oh so many years ago. When my husband wanted braces we went straght to dr tight. He was a quite man but a wonderful and friendly person. I am so thankful for the wonderful smile i have. Skiing and photos was a great joy for him. He will be missed

Dear Mrs. Judy Tight and family,
I'm deeply saddened for you all. I heard from Dr. Bassett this morning. I was one of Dr. Tight's patients back in the late 80's. My mom, Nancy Brown often says to me, wow Kristie! Dr. Tight really did an amazing job on your smile. She is extremely pleased as am I. I often enjoyed seeing you all at the Cardinal Gibbons football games. I will miss seeing him as so many will. He was such a special good man and will be missed by so many. God bless you and your family during this difficult time.

Judy, the day after I didn't know what to say so I gave you a hug. Today at the funeral I realized what I had been thinking but couldn't verbalize. You and Bud have beautiful grandchildren. Dear Tight Family,
Last Wednesday was a sad day for me and for many of us who call Coral Ridge home. Dr. Tight was one of the nicest parents I knew growing up, and he never failed to say hello or ask how I was, as the years went by.
I remember the many seasons playing baseball at "The Park", and being glad to know that John and I were on the same team, because you could always count on Dr. and Mrs. Tight attending, with Debbie, Stephanie and Brian. He was a fixture at Coral Ridge Little League games and his passing has also taken away a part of my childhood. He was one of a kind.
I know this has been a difficult week, and will continue to be for some time to come, but I'm sure you will take solace in knowing that your husband and dad is in a much more peaceful place. He is surrounded by the many friends and family members who left before him and is smiling down at the awesome family he helped raise.
Dr. Tight will be sorely missed, but his legacy will continue to burn bright within his family, friends and the community he helped build.

Dr. Tight gave my daughter the beautiful smile she has today. He and his office staff were always so warm and friendly. Everyone always had a smile on their face. dr. tight was the best customer i have ever known. words cannot express how sad i am to hear this news. i only knew dr.tight and his wife but i felt i knew all of his children and grandchildren because he talked so much about you all. Is the church going to be large enough to hold all the people who respect and have respected the tight family. Bud was and Judy is the best of all that Ft. Lauderdale ever had to offer and the loss of Bud will take a very long time to cope with.
My family knew that either syb, bud or Judy would be there when one of our family left this world to be greated in the next - and now my prayer is that you will let your family and friends help you in anyway that works for you.
