Our deepest sympathy goes out to the Wrobel family; many times our paths crossed when the boys were young; the good time they had; the miles we traveled between houses and the fun we had with the boys; unforgetable; as my son Mike said "We logged in many hours on the nintendo. We also wanted to start our own rap group, ice pac. We even had a couple of recordings. I remember that very well. Very tragic when something like this happens so sudden to someone so young." Prayers are with you all. Peace be with you.

Aunt Trisha, Uncle Gerry, and Sarah Jane, there are no words that are sufficient right now. I am at a loss that one of us is gone. I vividly remember the day Gregory was born. We were camping up at Brennan's Beach in Grandpa's camper. I was in bed, sleeping in that bed/cot that folded down from the wall, almost to ceiling, and someone (can't remember who) came in and said that Gregory had been born. I was sooo thrilled. Michael, Kathy, and I had our first cousin. He was the first of what I always thought of as "my four babies", with Eddie, Nora and Sarah to follow. I am truly blessed to be a part of this family and we will miss Gregory forever. I LOVE YOU ALL.

Wrobel and I have been inseparable since high school. We went to college together and eventually both moved down to Tampa, FL. Three things that I will cherish about our friendship:
1. No matter how busy he was, if I needed something, he was there for me, without hesitation.
2. Whether in-person or talking on the phone, Greg would always provide an attentive ear.
3. We were always laughing. Even the one time I got mad at him during our long friendship, we still ended up laughing moments later.
It's rare you find all those qualities in any friend. I'm definitely going to miss, in his words, my fellow soldier.

I cannot begin to express how deeply saddened I am by this news. Greg was one of my closest friends growing up. We drove to school together every day, played soccer and golf, went on countless trips, and just hung out. Although Greg and I saw each other infrequently after college, those times when we did get together, it seemed like nothing had changed. Greg was still a kind-hearted and fun-filled individual. To Mr. and Mrs. Wrobel, Sarah, and the rest of Greg's family, you will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Like many, I considered Greg my best friend growing up. Greg and I did everything together from going to religion classes, to trading baseball cards, playing Sega Genesis, shooting pool, golfing, and taking trips to the Casino. We shared so many great times together and I will never forget him. He was intelligent, funny, and was the most generous person I've ever met. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I went to college with Greg. We lived on the same floor in Seton. We hung out quite a bit his first year. I remember he always used to share his Doritos from home with us. What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say goodbye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget.
Your flame will keep on burning

Greg in no other words, was simply awesome. I only knew Greg for a few years working with him at IBM... he was not only the best Systems Administrator on my team, he was a very good friend. He was always there to help me and the other team members, someone to confide in whenever a voice of reason was needed, and was basically my right-hand man in leading the Wolters Kluwer account (one of the other accounts he worked on). I will miss him very much... he was truly the best .. God Bless you lad...
To the Wrobel family and friends, I am so sorry for your loss... I can not imagine the sorrow you are going through... Greg will be in my prayers
Sincerely,
