Well Bobber, it's been a couple years since you left our world. I hope heaven meets your expectations, and God is getting his money's worth out of you. I know he's paying more than he thought for your shoes because you probably have not sat down in 2 years. I will see you there one of these days, but until then I just have our memories like the experimental rocket club and the time we chased the sheep through the fence at farm in Iowa and your uncle teaching us to play poker.

To the Peck Family,
Bob was such a great man! I cared about me deeply. I am so sorry to hear about this really sad news.

I've known Bob for almost 20 years. I took care of him while I was going to school. I saw an ad at school, at Florida A&M University, for a quadriplegic man needing help. He wanted a Nursing student (I was an Occupational Therapy student) but I wanted the job.
I'm so glad that I took that ad. He has made such an impact in my life. Even after I graduated, I still would drive to "take care of Bob". This continued for 10 years until I relocated. He was factored into everything I did.
I would call him on Father's Day, his birthday, and Christmas and just randomly to see how he was doing.
I was wondering why he didn't return my bday calls/emails. I searched for his name and saw the obituary, today. This really hurts.

I miss you Bob-O!

Dear Pecks
Sorry to hear about Bobber, he was a good guy and a great friend growing up. Although our lives were separated early on by corporate transfers of our parents, my memories of the Peck family have always been a constant source of joyful childhood memories. Bob was the first person I knew to suffer a traumatic injury, and while not a part of that time of his life, Bobs ability to overcome the challenges put in his lifes path were a source of strength to me when my problems seemed overwhelming.

I hope we all can remember the good times we had and keep Bobs spirit with us as we navigate the difficult years ahead.

Wishing all the Pecks well and Peace to Bob at last.

Such sad news, please take care of one another and be kind to yourself. Bob was a wonderful colleague and exceptional man. He taught me how important it is to analyze and interpret data for the good of public health while remembering that no one is statically insignificant. Thank you Bob for being a friend.

Bob and i worked together for many years at DOH. Whenever I needed help getting to the bottom of things, I knew I could count on Bob . Bob always shared a ready smile and a hug, and amazed me with how gracefully he handled his physical limitations..
What a class act. I am so sorry.
