We Thought of You Today...
We thought of you today,
But that is nothing new.
We thought of you yesterday,
And will tomorrow too.
We think of you in silence,
And make no outward show.
For what it meant to lose you
Only those who love you know.
Remembering you is easy,
We do it every day.
It's the heartache of losing you,
That will never go away.
In Loving Memory of "Daddy P" and "Granddad",
Natalie and Devean

Don was such a happy go lucky guy, always wore a smile. Friendly to everyone he saw . He was a brother to all the guys he played football with at Godby. Every time I think of him, makes me smile. He’ll be missed but I will always have the memories of my time spent with him. God’s speed bubba!

Don,
My main man and high school running buddy. Rest in peace my friend. Great memories of fun times we shared like being stopped in the hallway of Leon High School by Mrs. Furlough, our teacher at Godby!!! Will always remember the ride back to the campus on high school graduation night when you led our bus in singing the hit song, "Will it Go Round in Circles" That's just one of many memories of growing up together. I was so proud when you received a scholarship to Pitt.
Until we meet again, my friend!!!!!

My deepest condolences to the family. I graduated RHS in 2002 and I knew him as coach (track and cross country). You were an amazing and funny man, always had a joke to tell, especially about my name lol. I love you and the fam, and you’re forever in my prayers

Sweet was such a gentle giant who genuinely showed that he cared...everyday! Whether passing him in the hall or being coached by him...he corrected you with firm, yet caring hands and you knew that it was in your best interest. His laughter and jovial personality will certainly be missed. I know that if he had it his way, he’d still be watching over us. Sleep peacefully Sweet, Don Parrish. May the family find comfort & peace in the Lord.
