God has the most precious angel with him. I can feel her smiling in the warmth of this sunny day because the work that she has built up is still being done by all of those who have had the honor of knowing her. Cheryl, you are missed - and you are loved.

I was a classmate of Cheryl at Wakulla High School
Cheryl was a true friend to everyone. No matter where we saw each other, she had a smile and wanted to know how everyone was doing.
It is so hard for me to believe that she is gone. I know that Heaven is a little sweeter today because I know that she is there.
To her boys Michael and Jake ... I cannot even begin to know the anger and pain that you both must be experiencing today but know that you continue to be in all our thoughts and our prayers.
Your Mom was a "Light" and those of us who were fortunate to call her "Friend" are "Blessed" to have known her.
May God Bless You and Comfort you and your famlies as you begin to try and heal and carry on.

Cheryl was a very good friend of mine while growing up in Crawfordville. Many times were spent at either of our houses as kids spending the night, going skating, tring to stay up the whole Labor Day Jerry Lewis Telethon or the all night skate at the Tallahassee Armory. We attending Riversink Baptist Church for many years and had many fun times with Brother Harley, Ms. Betty, Sherry and many other special people. These things will come up from nowhere when I take a quite time to think of Cheryl I keep remembering special times. I didn't keep in touch with her after I moved to Texas. I think about her and know that she has touched my life as many many people from Crawfordville and so many other places. Ms. Betty Morris taught us about the missions from all around the world and I know that Cheryl has had many missions accomplished in her life time and that she is now with our Holy God, Jesus Christ our Heavenly Father.
I have never met her sons Michael and Jake, please know this, you're mother is a beautiful person that was given a purpose on this earth and she has completed her tasks. May her teachings continue to reach out to others, and always keep her love and memories with us all.

Pam and I (and Alex) are deeply saddened by the passing of your wonderful mother. I will never forget the great show of Love your mother showed for my mother and Grandmother (Miss Carrie)when they were both ill right after Cheryl passed her stateboard and started her career in Nursing. Your mom was an exception person/saint and you should aways be proud to be her sons. I know she was proud of you both. God Bless.

Be Still
Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.
Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.
If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

There are no words to even begin to say to take away the hurt that this earthly body of ours feels, but I know that God will put his wings of love and peace about you during this trying time. I pray that you will feel His presence, grace, mercy, and love and allow that to help you make it moment by moment. Dear Lord bless this family and carry them on your wings of abiding love and mercy. Give them the peace to know that Cheryl is with you and rejoicing right now. Lean on Him.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Heaven and Earth
When the warmth of the sun touches my face,
I see your smile and feel your embrace.
I hear the whisper of love in the wind
And I know that you are close to me again.
The rain speaks of tears and the thunder of pain,
But soon the sun comes the earth to reclaim.
As the days come and go and the world moves on,
I know you're still here, you'll never be gone.
On the night the Angel came and took your hand,
We cried as you left for an unknown land.
But Heaven rejoiced as you came into sight,
For your soul was a diamond, shining so bright!

I did not know Cheryl personally, but my husband, Steve did. However, I feel I knew her through all that has been written of her. She was my sister in Christ and she lived a life that shone like a beacon in the night. I am so sorry for your loss because I lost my mother in 1993 and not only is a mother a mother but a best friend. I am confident however, she is with her heavenly father and her race has been run. Let us take example of her life that she so strongly showed to us and run this race and I know this would make her proud. You are all in our prayers. May the Lord bring you comfort someway and somehow. Hold to the memories for which I am sure are dear.
