My late husband was a triple-organ transplant patient due to a burst appendix, just like Betty had. Her book, My Glimpse of Eternity, was such a comfort during those hard times. Thank-you Betty for answering the call of God, and see you when I get there!

Rereading for the umpteenth time 44 years, Betty's book, Prayers That Are Answered. It is still as much a source of encouragement to my faith as the first time I read it. Can't wait to tell her in the Promise Land.

Betty and I did a lot of co-speaking at Lundstrom weekend seminars, she would fly in, (literally) by the seat of her pants and come flying down the long Corridor the last minute, with her long, flowing dress, bright red lipstick, big dangling earrings, and her "Scooby Doo" lunchbox.! Never a dull moment with Betty!!! So much fun. Gloria Lundstrom

Sister Betty Malz will always be an inspiring person to me! Indeed, BOTH Bro. and Sis. Malz were an inspiration at the tiny campus of TRINITY BIBLE COLLEGE (TBI) in Ellendale, ND. I was blessed to know them, and Sister Malz took a personal interest in me because of our common height. Hers is a positive impact for a lifetime, for sure. :) As an attorney, I recognize I have been blessed by having known so many positive GODLY people, for whom I praise the LORD!
I can only hope and pray to leave such a positive legacy as well.

Just a note to say how grateful I am for Sister Malz' influence on our TBI (Trinity Bible College) student body at Ellendale, ND. Brother Malz also challenged us at Chapel services, and I am thankful for TBI's sowing into Missions. My husband and I are able to lead an annual trip to a SD Indian Reservation.
Sister Malz was such a gifted speaker, and we students were blessed to hear her each Sunday. We adored her and her little red car!
I was at TBI 1973-74 and she and I connected through Sunday School, Chapel Choir, Handel's Messiah, and the fact that we were both tall girls!
What a joy to know her and to re-read her book on answered prayers recently! Then I heard a YouTube clip of her testimony! PTL!
My one regret is that we did not have her as our guest speaker at Yuma Aglow (Yuma, CO) where I now serve as president. I read that she had spoken elsewhere at an Aglow meeting, and I was quite envious! WHAT A BLESSING FOR HER LISTENERS EVERYWHERE. Praise the Lord for a beautiful life well lived for Jesus! I look forward to our Heavenly Reunion one day.

I met Betty not too long after she and Carl moved to Florida... To say I was awed by her experience is an understatement .... Her love for our Savior shined forth so beautifully and when I was asked by my Pastor’s wife to assist in the Woman’s Monthly get togethers—-comprised of a guest speaker, followed by a delicious lunch I was delighted and honored to have privilege of inviting the guest speakers and Betty was happy to respond to the invitation to share her amazing testimony...I believe that every one of us returned to our homes with recharged faith and love for our dear Jesus...The last time I saw Betty, she was working part at a little dress shop in Palm Harbor; I’m convinced it was above all, an opportunity to minister to the ladies who came to the shop and came away with something far more precious than a pretty dress... She was a true Proverbs 31:10-31 Woman of God and each of us who. have responded to : “...behold I stand at the door of your heart...”, if we will open our hearts and ask Jesus in, He will receive us ... He turns no one away that invites Him in with a sincere heart... we will join Betty and all our loved ones that revived the Lord of glory when we leave this ole broken world behind...

WOW! If I remember correctly, I think Betty was a speaker at one of our AGLOW meetings in Indiana many years ago. I was remembering her lively joy of life and looked her up to find she had gone home again. What an incredible woman of faith! I am so sorry she is gone on, but she will never be forgotten!!!

My God what a wonderful Lady? This my first time to come across her name. I have been blessed by her testimony and everything about her. I will make it a point to get her products she left for us from now on I have a mentor. Her family and all those who knew her are privileged to be part of something so marvellous which is God's doing. Praise to His Holy Name. Amen. Sharon.

Betty was my beloved TBI Sunday School teacher in 1973-74 [Ellendale,ND], and we later corresponded. Today is 6-15-2020, and I have just finished re-reading PRAYERS THAT ARE ANSWERED and hearing her wonderful testimony via YouTube. At five-foot-twelve, Betty was only 1-2 inches taller than I, but I looked up to her physically AND spiritually. SO THANKFUL FOR THE SEEDS SHE SOWED INTO MY LIFE!! Praise God from Whom all blessings flow!"

I met Betty many, many years ago at a Womens Conference and she literally changed my life. She treated me as a friend that she had known for years. I have all of her books and re-read them over and over. May God bless her family.

God blessed me when I met Betty. She was an inspiration to me when I heard her talk and when I read her books, AND when I met her at the post office when she was in her convertible. I loved sharing her books and testimony with others who didn't know her - yet. My sympathy to Betty's family.

Dear Carl and family, Our thoughts and prayers are with you. There was no one like her with spunk, love for people, love for God and her love to pray. She loved people and truly cared for them. Her humor was hilarious! I can still remember her coming to co-speak at a Lundstrom family life weekend, she had caught the last flight out of Florida, rushed into the convention center all "dolled up" in a long flowing dress, heels, carrying a "scooby do" lunch box...That was Betty! The last statement she spoke to Larry and I about a year ago when we were visiting Carl and Betty was "Larry and Gloria, I want to spend the rest of my life winning souls". What a parting statement. Carl, we love you, you are a dear friend to us and you have mentored us more than you will ever know. I love our phone calls to you, and you continually feed us "Gold" from the word of God. Love our prayer times. Praying for you during this time and always...

Our dear friend and sister in Christ was one of those people you may meet in a lifetime who had the wonderful ability to lift spirits, encourage as very few can and who expressed the love of Christ as few can in this life. All of her books are treasured by me and ours are included with a written greeting and encouragement. I am going through them as I prepare to attend her send off from our lives and into the arms of a Loving Savior and the angels and family who welcomed her to her new life eternal. Her books have blessed countless people and have very tender and wonderful words of blessing. She remembers her last daughter in several of her books as well as her loving husband Carl. If you have never had the privilige of reading any of her writings I can assure you of special blessing. She even writes about suffering and the reasons for them as she shares her own life and experiences. Of course she wrote those things long before she actually experienced them. What a lady, what a Saint of God and what love she always had for all whose lives she touched. We will miss you dear Betty. I will look for you as soon as I get to where you have just arrived. I'll be looking for my hug which you always gave me. We hurt with you these past months and are thankful you have had that heavy burden lifted. We shall never forget you and your love and shared talent.

Dear Pastor Carl and family: I will always cherish my memories of Betty when we were in the choir together at Clearwater First Assembly of God. She was always a bright spot and made me laugh a lot! She was an awesome woman of God and I'm so thankful for the help that she gave me when I worked with Singles. I will never forget riding in her convertible! She will definitely be missed.

2/7/2012 Dear Carl: I am sad to hear of Betty's homegoing. I remember accompanying her on the piano when she played the organ at Ellendale A/G. I remember riding with her to Aberdeen in her GM convertible. I remember her Godly example, her humor, her testimony, her books, her beauty, and so much more. Carl, I'd like to express my sympathy to you and your family and thank you for the wonderful ways both you and Betty influenced my life while you were at TBC. My husband and I will remember you in our prayers.

Dear Carl and all,
Betty greatly influenced me at TBI. I even snuck into the stairway to listen to her talk to the married students because I didn't want to miss any opportunity to hear what she would say.
Her return trip to heaven and arrival there must have been wonderful. I rejoice for her and feel your great pain. With much love. Sondra Thompson

You are such a classy lady. Poised, elegant and full of God's grace. You had a great sense of humor and I am privileged to have known you in ND and FL. Thank you for being my mother's best friend and for praying with me the night my daughter went to heaven...I'll never forget your words..."Melodee, Maurissa will receive her healing on the wings of your praise." and she did. Much love to you and my sweet childhood friend, April and Bro. Carl Malz. Your entire family are in my prayers. Melodee Zink-Nobles

Dear Carl, Connie, April and the entire family:
I remember Betty and I riding around in her bright yellow convertible, going to the beach, sharing so many good times. Especially her words about our granddaughter, Maurissa Dawn, who went home to Heaven at age 13. As Betty was praying with me in our bedroom one cold day in ND she said this baby will be greatly used by God, she will be special and she will live a short life here on earth. Every word she said in her prayers have come to pass. I shall always remember the day she drove me by Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, FL. I was born there and had never been there as I was adopted and did not know the origin of my birth/roots. She was my model for writing books and public speaking in churches across the Dakotas. We will greatly miss her. She is now healed and rejoicing with Connie Lundstrom, Maurissa Dawn Martin-Nobles, Rosa Mae, and all her family & friends. What a celebration they are having with our Lord.
Carl, David sends his condolences and wants you to know how much he loves you and looks up to your scholarly researched Biblical writings and messages. You are his model Missionary, "your healing is on the wings of your praises."
So sorry we were unable to attend Betty's Homegoing Celebration due to another ministerial conflict.

I met her only once in 2003 - a chance meeting at the hairdressers - but I will always remember our conversation. Her books and devotional have been a blessing to me.
