Bruce DUTTON Obituary
59, passed peacefully June 3, 2017. Bruce was born August 14, 1957 to William Wallace Dutton Jr. and Jean Dutton and raised in Dunedin, FL. He graduated from Dunedin High School and Auburn University. Bruce was a leader in the biotechnology industry as a hospital and clinical sales specialist. He was instrumental in supporting physicians and hospitals in bringing lifesaving therapies to their patients. Bruce was a man that always charted his own course through life. He was an avid free diver and spear fisherman, a true man of the sea. He faced ALS head-on with strength and resilience and continued to explore the world with an adventurous spirit. Bruce lived larger than life and lives on in our hearts.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Denise (Wagner) Dutton; sisters, Jill and Teresa Dutton; niece, Hope Dutton; sister-in-law, Bunny Dutton; along with extended family and the many students and athletes that he mentored. Contributions can be made to Bruce's St. Pete Aquaman, established to support local families affected by ALS. A sunset celebration on the Gulf of Mexico will be held over Labor Day Weekend.
