Paul Kenney Obituary

Paul M. Kenney, age 35, recently of Middleboro, formerly of New Bedford and Taunton passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at St. Elizabeths Medical Center in Brighton. Born in Taunton, MA on June 18, 1981, he was a loving son of Paul R. Kenney and his wife Cheryl of Taunton and Robin E. (Collins) Wasylow and her former husband Steven of Taunton. Paul grew up in Taunton and was a 1999 graduate of Bristol Plymouth Regional Technical School. He had worked as a self-employed electrician. Paul loved spending time with his children and was always there to help others in need, which included being a donor. He had a remarkable sense of humor, enjoyed rap music, coaching youth soccer in Acushnet, and when younger played Taunton Little League and participated in karate. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his cherished sons Jakob M. Kenney and Phoenix A. Kenney. He was the devoted brother of Melissa Kenney, Jared Wasylow, Heath Wasylow, Ragan Wasylow and Laura Kenney. He was the dear grandson of Peggy and Bob Mullen of Dighton, and is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a service in celebration of his life on Saturday, November 12th at 12:00 P.M. at the Taunton Funeral Home, 8 Crapo St., (Off Route 140, Tremont St.) Taunton. Burial will be private Visitation will be held prior to the services on Saturday morning beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, Pauls family would prefer donations in his memory made to the Kenney Childrens Educational Fund, care of, Bristol County Savings Bank, 35 Broadway, Taunton, MA 02780. Paul, you were always a nice young man. You were always working on the plow with your Dad and even did our house on Ashland St. Always a worker and great asset to your family...I will always cherish those memories of you. God bless you and may you rest with God in God home called Heaven...AMEN!!
