General Harold Glasgow, was a marine's marine and without a doubt the finest marine I ever served under. In 1958 he was a Capt. at the time, and he was
the manager of the Camp Lejeune baseball team and I had the distinct pleasure of playing for him. He not only was a great baseball manager but a great
disciplinarian and made me a better ballplayer and a better marine: He will truly be missed.

We are so sad to hear of Hal's passing. We had the special opportunity to travel with him and Carol overseas for several years and spent time with them at their beautiful home in Harlingen. All the Heilmans send their condolences.
