Vincent DeSantis Obituary
Born on Dec. 13, 1952, in DuBois, Pa., he was the son of the late Alfred V. and Coradine Aquilino DeSantis.
Retired, Vince had worked as a carpenter and painter.
He was a member of the S.O.I. in Brockway, VFW in Crenshaw, Horton Sportsmen's Club, Falls Creek Eagles and the Brockport Army/Navy. Vince enjoyed socializing with his family and friends. He also enjoyed spending time with his dog Milo.
He is survived by three daughters: Shonda Carlson of Brockway, Michelle DeSantis (Eric Gerg) of Penfield, Billie Jo DeSantis of Maryland; one sister, Dori (Ed) Fordoski of Falls Creek; two brothers, Paul (Paula) DeSantis of Bemus Point, N.Y. and John (Doreen) DeSantis of Treasure Lake. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Alex and Tristen Shugar, as well as by many nieces and nephews.
There will be no public visitation. A graveside service will be held on Friday, Oct. 14 at 1 p.m. at St. Tobias Cemetery, with Rev. Terry Felt officiating.
Following the service at the cemetery, everyone is invited to the VFW Club in Crenshaw for a funeral lunch.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home, Inc., Brockway. Online condolences may be left at csfhinc.com.
