Lauren Anton Obituary
Lauren was raised in Waterford and graduated from Waterford High School class of 1977. She was united in marriage, to Daniel Anton Oct. 14, 1978, in St. Joseph Church. Lauren and Danny owned and operated Anton Paving Co., which they started in 1978.
She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and her life revolved around all of them. Lauren enjoyed gardening at her home, spending time with her grandchildren and was fond of her dogs.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel of 41 years of marriage; her five children, Daniel Anton III, Alison Anton, Marissa Vaspassiano, Brandon and Garrett Anton; her eleven grandchildren, Daniel, Lena, Kane, Chase, Cobie, Luca, Charlotte, Mila, Mac, Maddox and Aidan; and her three siblings, Debra Dempsey, Craig Holt, Caroline Holt.
All funeral services are private. The Impellitteri-Malia Funeral home, 84 Montauk Avenue, New London, has been entrusted with her care.

I miss you so much mom ,I push for your memory every day .and there isn't a day that goes by I don't remember something funny we did or talked about every day ,I will never not talk to you like your still with me .cause I now you are ,when I'm down a dragon fly comes ,like the one on your foot you had .or I think of my first Tattoo we got together in bar harbor when I was 17 .I see your work here everyday in the mirror and in my spirit.but I know your soles touch puts power in my steps.Your first born misses the heck out of you today.i love you momma! Debbie was a friend of mine at Waterford High and I remember hanging out with her and her very good friend Patty Worth! We had such good times. She was so tall and beautiful! I first met Lauren at a ballet school in East Lyme when I was 11 years old...she was so tall, confident & beautiful..I was in awe...29 years later I started working with her Mom Peggy...small world. Lauren is "unforgettable...that's what she was..."

Dearest Marissa and family,
The first and only time that I met your mother was at Pam and Richard's wedding. She had just gotten out of the hospital and was far from being recovered. Yet, her loyalty to Pam was so strong, that she got dressed and went, regardless of how ill she was. I knew at that moment that she was such a strong, and a very loyal human being. I believe she is resting peacefully in heaven and will never be far from her family.

What a beautiful woman she was, you could feel the love for her family the first time we met years ago celebrating Charlottes first birthday.
