Darwin Gebbie Obituary
He married Priscilla Szajda in 1970. Together they raised four sons, Gregory(deceased), Alexander, Nicholas (deceased) and Christopher.
Before starting a family Darwin served in the National Guard. He was employed at Pratt and Whitney for 27 years and then focused on building his own property development business which was the true passion of his life. He also served on the building committees of the new Lyman Memorial High School and the new fellowship hall of the First Baptist Church.
He was a loving and generous person to all. He unselfishly devoted himself to his sons and family.
He is survived by his loving daughters-in-law, Kristin, Jessica and Kate; four grandchildren; his brothers and sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a celebration of his life at 11 a.m. May 15, at the First Baptist Church of Lebanon, (Masks are necessary to attend). Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be given to the First Baptist Church of Lebanon, 694 Trumbull Hwy, Lebanon, CT 06249.

I was fortunate to know this really nice man, and his handsome sons. One day I had the privilege of meeting his beautiful wife Priscilla in the Norwichtown branch of Bank of America. Such a wonderful, beautiful family, and he was so proud. Of course, why would he not? I really did not have anything to do with his life, but talked of him often, because I admired him. I think, if I may say he was an honorable man. What better legacy.
