Rebecca Hamann Obituary

Feb. 21, 1934 - Nov. 5, 2012

Rebecca Hamann, 78, formerly of Hilltop Lakes, passed away Monday, November 5, 2012 at St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 9, at 1 p.m. in the Hilltop Lakes Chapel. Brother Tony Taylor will preside over the service. Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery. Services have been entrusted to Cozart Funeral Home.

Rebecca Fawn White was born February 21, 1934 in Sandy Hook, Ky., to parents Verner and Myrtle (Conn) White. She was a licensed vocational nurse who specialized in at-home care.

Rebecca was married February 9, 1997 in the Hilltop Lakes Chapel to Vance Hamann. She had a love for music and was a member of the Hilltop Lakes Choir. Rebecca was also a member of The Daughters of the Republic and loved wildlife and especially red birds.

Survivors include, the love of her life, her husband Vance Hamann; a son, Dennis Westfall and wife Kelly; daughters, Rhesa Boulton and husband Kenny, Terry Hamann and husband Alan Perlstein; two brothers, Eugene White and wife Sue, and Clyde White; three sisters, Annabell Thurman and husband Floyd, Madeline Melton and husband Jim, and Lorretta Berry; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Hilltop Lakes Chapel or your favorite charity.

To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
