Our warmest thoughts and prayers for the family of this young man. Death whether it be sudden or delayed with illness, is the wound that pierces the heart, and sometimes the heart never completely mends from the loss. The love of a Mother, sister, niece or friend is eternal, faded in memories but recalled in a fleeting vision of recalled laughter, a favorite piece of music, sunshine on the grass or the ringing of the phone @9:30 at night. Now we are all isolated with a Pandemic, no ability to deliver a hug or grip our hands in grief, but we are all connected by memories, and our ability to share sorrow with words and prayers for mutual comfort.

I would like to say how saddened I am that Leelee (as I called him) We shared many good times late at night after work at Th Steakpit...sing at the top of our lungs, Loui Louis.
I will forever think of him when I walk by the scratch ticket machine, at City Market, in Aspen.
RIP You have to be in Rock n Roll heaven!!! You will be missed as a fixture around town, especially at Th Ginger Bread House at The St. Regis.
Love, Cindy "Lou Who" Fioroni

I am deeply saddened to hear of Lee's passing. My prayers and thoughts go out to your family.
My son Rory worked with him in Aspen at Belly-up. He did hospitality at the club, a liaison with the music talent. Rory and Lee became very close. He adored Lee, so much so, his call to us announcing his death was tear-filled.
I never had the chance to meet him, even though I felt like I did. He couldn’t believe I grew up in Elmira/Pine City, and later lived in Ithaca.
My eldest son Ryan, was born in Ithaca, when I worked for the Ithaca Journal many moons ago. I sent a homemade box of half-moon cookies to he and Rory. Lee couldn’t believe his eyes. We had so much fun on the phone with Rory, with Lee in the background, we asked if he knew of M&M Hots (my all-time favorite), Morretti’s, the Rongovian Embassy in Trumansburg, and of course Glenwood Pines on the lake. To name a few.
He was so good to those around him. Rory loved adventuring around town talking about old Aspen with him. He kept an area in the kitchen with funny things about Rory, and others who worked there.
He was too young to leave us. I can tell you he left a deep, abiding impression of those who knew and loved him. Bless him.

PS. I'm adding a photo Rory just sent me of David, Rory

We were so very sorry to hear of Lee's passing. We have so many memories of the great times that we shared, including our trip to Toronto to see him off on his Alaskan adventure. He will be dearly missed. Our thoughts are with his family.
