My Uncle Bill was one of the easiest people to talk to and lived a full life of love and service to others. Some of my favorite memories include him sitting on the living room floor on Christmas morning and putting together Barbie doll houses, always volunteering to do the dishes by hand for the entire family after holiday meals, wearing our Easter bonnets and letting us eat the Cool Whip right out of the container when dessert was finished, sitting contently by himself and writing in his little notepad (what in the world was he always writing?!), his cozy house on Mill Street in Freeville, and of course, having him volunteer as the archery instructor at Camp Rotary (he was everyone's favorite staff member!). We will truly miss him ? Love you Uncle Bill

I am so sorry for your loss. Bill was the kindest and happiest man I've ever known. I first met him when he'd visit the old "Temple of Zeus" at Cornell to get a coffee and donut. He was everyone's friend. Even after Bill retired, I'd see him occasionally at MacDonald's in Dryden...and he always took the time to stop and ask how things were; always had a smile to share. He was the ultimate gentleman. I'm sure Bill is one of God's wonderful angels!

Condolences to Bill's family. I'm remembering him from many years ago when he and my older brother Joel were friends at Freeville and Dryden Schools and in "the good outdoors."

Pam - It's always tragic when someone so well liked and respected passes. Bill was one of those to me. He always managed to attend our Reg.7 meetings right up to the end so his death was a shock. Bill always took the time to inquire as to how I, and my family, were doing and what was "going on". There will be a distinct feeling of "something is missing" at our future Reg. 7 Conservation League meetings.
Melva and I offer sincere condolences to you and the family. Bill will be missed.

There is no finer a man than one who gives of himself for the good of others and Bill has been that man for more years than I care to count. All that knew him will miss him, those that never knew him, missed out.

Pam, So sorry to hear of Bill's passing. He will be missed. Even though I only saw him once a year, usually on April 15th, he always made me smile and put a bright spot in my day.

I am so very sad at Bills passing. Being married to him for so many years I know how much he cherished family and friends. Recently Bill told me he was one of the wealthiest men he knew, believing that his wealth was measured in friendship. I thank so many of you for your calls, cards and kind wishes. I miss him!
