Herbert Pulley Obituary
Herbert Pulley, Sr., age 86 of Cumberland City, TN, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Spring Meadows Nursing Home, Clarksville, TN.
The Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at Anglin Funeral Home with Rev. William Gray officiating. Burial in the Cumberland City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday and from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday at Anglin Funeral Home.
He was born on February 14, 1929 in Cumberland City, Tennessee, son of the late Henry Clifton and Stella Belle Pulley. Mr. Pulley was a U.S. Army Veteran and worked as a mechanic at Weaks Motor Company and Triangle Motors in Tennessee Ridge.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Bettie Jo Felts Pulley; sons, Joseph Ray Pulley, Gerald Glen Pulley; brothers, Oscar Jimmy Pulley, James Hubert Pulley, Walter Earl Pulley; sister, Elmer Pulley.
Survivors include his son, Herbert Pulley, Jr., Clarksville; brother, Martin Pulley, Westport, IN; sisters, Earline Brooks, Erin, Mary Hudson, Cumberland City; grandchildren, Jeffery Pulley, Jennifer Pulley; great grandchild, Danyul Pulley.
Pallbearers will be Jeffery Pulley, Danyul Pulley, Kay Hudson, David Dunlap, Roscoe Brooks, Jr. and Dylan Wood.
