Felix Castillo Obituary
Felix served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was a devoted father, grandfather, son, husband and believed with God all things were possible. Felix was a true fan of the Cowboys and Spurs and always had a smile on his face with a lending hand for anyone who need it.
He is survived by his wife: Sylvia (Rodriquez) Castillo; four daughters: Cindy Hoots (Rodney), Edith Castillo, Lisa Castillo, Elissa Castillo; three sons: Victor Castillo (Claire), Felix A. Castillo (Elizabeth), Corey Castillo (Gennifer); three sisters: Carmen Rivas (Manuel), Sylvia Puente (Ramiro), Maria Martinez (†Alberto); six grandchildren: Brendon, Meagan, Sebastian and David Hoots; Emma Castillo and Xantan Felix Castillo as well as numerous other family and friends.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 3, 2017 from 4pm to 9pm with a Rosary at 7pm at Rivera Funeral Home in McAllen. Funeral mass will be held at 10am Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in McAllen. Interment will follow at La Piedad Cemetery. Rivera Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

I've known the Castillo family my entire life and they are like a second family to me. Mr. Castillo was my first communion godfather, so he held a very special place in my heart. To hear of his passing devastated me and broke my heart. He was a very kind and positive man. I was very fortunate to have someone like him in my life.
I love you and miss you dearly Mr. Castillo.
