Glenn E. Kuhn Obituary

Glenn E. Kuhn Sr., 88, of Rineyville, died Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017, at Signature Healthcare of Elizabethtown.

Sgt. 1st Class Kuhn retired from the U.S. Army after 21 years of service to our country. He served in Korea and the Vietnam War. He was awarded the Bronze Star, two Purple Hearts along with several other medals.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dora Mae Kuhn; and two sons, Glenn E. Kuhn Jr. and Darlen James Kuhn.
He is survived by three sons, Allen Dean (Carla) Kuhn of Elizabethtown, Larry (Mary) Kuhn of Riney­ville, and John (Robin) Kuhn of Rineyville; a daughter, Robin Finch of Shirleysburg, Pennsylvania; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Floyd Kuhn of Mount Holly Springs, Pennsylvania and Albert Kuhn of Carlisle, Pennsylvania; and a sister, Grace Shupp of Mount Holly Springs.

A graveside service with military honors is at 2 p.m. Tuesday in North Hardin Memorial Gardens in Radcliff.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and continues after 1 p.m. Tuesday at Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home in Vine Grove.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to: Hosparus Central Kentucky,105 Diecks Drive, Elizabethtown, KY 42701.
