George Barrick Obituary

BARRICK, GEORGE A.; of Oxford; died September 29, 2013. He was 87. He was born June 8, 1926 in Pittstown, New Jersey to the late Arthur and Jennie (nee: Stenabaugh) Barrick. He is survived by three sons, Kirk (Dorothy) Barrick, Gregg Barrick and Dean (Penny) Barrick; two grandchildren, Jarrad and Connor Barrick; one sister, Marjorie (Charles) Frantz. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Deana in 2008. George retired from GM Truck and Bus in 1986. He was a member of the Wally Byram Airstream Club, active with the Boy Scouts of America and enjoyed piloting his own plane and fishing. Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, October 3, 2013 at Seymour Lake United Methodist Church where he was a longtime member (corner of Seymour Lake Rd. and Sashabaw Rd.). Interment will follow at Seymour Lake Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at COATS VILLAGE FUNERAL HOME, ORTONVILLE.
