Sending prayers and hugs to Carol, Shunny, Michelle and the rest of the family. He was such an amazing man who will forever hold so many fun memories for me! You couldn't help but to laugh and smile in his presence. He just made the world a better place and I am a better person for knowing him! May he rest in eternal peace!

To my dearest Grandpa Jack. Though I wont be there to see you laid to rest and hear all of the amazing and heart warming stories from your myriad of friends, I will be there in thought and a prayer for you. I wish I could see the joy on folks faces as they share experiences of times with you, the unofficial Mayor of Muncie, as there was not a person in town you did not know.
I will reflect on my time growing up with you as a Grandfather and how you were truly the funniest adult on the planet. You treated your grandchildren with fun and merriment and as adults you championed our goals and the choices we made in life.
It is such a privilege to come from wonderful parents in Carol Ann and Shuny. I loved watching your admiration of how hard Shine worked and no matter how many times he told you, you kept asking, What is the tallest building you worked on Shuny?. I loved seeing you laugh with your daughter and share stories of the old days. How when Granny Suzy met you she thought you were a snappy dresser and the best dancer. To be fair, you could cut a wrong well into your older years and by far one of the stylish men I have ever laid eyes on. You and Patty truly were a class act and I learned how to be graceful and joyful by watching you two.
Thank you for your humor. Thank you for your warmth. Thank your for your entertainment. Thank you for being a stand up guy!
Mostly, thank you for my Mom.
You will be missed by me for the rest of my days and I intend to make you proud and keep up the tradition of laughter and love.
With everlasting love,
Your Granddaughter, Michelle L.

So sorry for the loss of a great man,who knew no stranger's. I've been a true friend with the family for over 45 years and will always consider Jack as my second father. We had some great times together and really don't know how or why he put up with us,except to say that's just how understanding Jack was. He touched the lives of so many and will be dearly missed.
