It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kevin Noah Goen, who left us on September 1, 2025, at the age of 68. Born on December 24, 1956, in Anderson, Kevin was a cherished member of his community and a beloved family man.
Kevin was a proud Marine and served in the Indiana National Guard, showing the same dedication and commitment to his country as he did in all aspects of his life. He spent many rewarding years as a union laborer and was known for his hardworking spirit and determination.
Family meant everything to Kevin. Later in life, his proudest moments were spent with his granddaughters and his family. Kevin was the cornerstone of his family tree providing a helping hand to anyone in need.
A true sports enthusiast, Kevin had a great love for fishing, Notre Dame football, and racing, especially NASCAR. He enjoyed nothing more than cheering for his favorite teams and sharing that passion with his friends and family. He also dedicated his time to coaching football and Little League baseball, helping to inspire young athletes in his community.
He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Robin (Paschal) Goen; son, Matthew N. (Christy) Goen; and daughter, Michelle Goen; his brother, Noah (Lynn) Goen; his grandchildren, Addison Goen and Emily Hulett; and his mother, Linda (Borders) Goen.
He is preceded in death by his father, Noah C. Goen; a sister, Rene Reichardt; and a brother, Clinton N. Goen, along with other beloved family members.
A celebration of Kevin's life will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025. The visitation will take place from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by the service at 2:00 PM at Bozell Funeral Homes-Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel, located at 515 E. 53rd Street, Anderson, Indiana. Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery.Kevin will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
