She is survived by her husband of 54 years, William Coleman; daughter, Millie Coleman Atkinson and her husband, Paul Atkinson of Marietta, GA; granddaughters, Laura Miliette Atkinson of Nashville, TN, and Elizabeth Ann Atkinson of Marietta, GA; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ted and Peggy Coleman, J.T. and Hannah Hallman, and Thad and Shelby Coleman, all of Saluda, SC. She leaves behind many extended family members and friends.
After graduating from Saluda High School she attended Lander College and nursing school at the Baptist Hospital in Columbia. She began her professional career with Dr. L.W. Bonnoit. She worked for Dr. Harold Jervey for 12 years before leaving nursing to help William with their business, Coleman Well Drilling. Weita was a member of Lebanon UMC for 52 years, teaching 5th grade Sunday School for many years. She was a member of Fidelis Bible Sunday School Class and very active in the Ruth Smith Circle.
The family will receive friends at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, Tuesday, October 14th from 5-8 p.m. A memorial service will be held at Dunbar Funeral Home Wednesday, October 15th at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Lebanon UMC, 10220 Garners Ferry Road, Eastover, SC 29044 or to the charity/mission of your choice.

Will and family,

We were so sorry to hear of Miss Weida's passing. She was so loved by so many and will truly be missed. I know Heaven is happier now that she is home and she is making everyone smile.
