In 1974 Mr. Hall interviewed me to be his secretary when he was Deputy Director of the Marshals Service. It took him awhile to decide who he was going to hire, but he eventually selected me. I have very fond memories of working for him, and beyond that. He has a special place in my heart.
My sympathy to his family.

I was working at the U.S. Marshals Headquarters when Mr. Hall joined our staff as Legal Counsel. He was quiet, polite, and displayed boyish charm. He was a true Southern gentleman. I was fortunate to attend his retirement in Glynco, Ga., and to remain friends until his death.
My deepest sympathy to his family.

I met Bill before he became active with the US Marshals Service, and remained friends with him throughout his career with the US Marshals. He was certainly an asset to the Service. He will sincerely be missed.
