Robert (Bob) Emondi, age 78, died peacefully with his wife, Linda, by his side on Oct. 8, 2020, while a patient at the Lebanon V.A. Medical Center in Lebanon, Pa. He was the son of the late Thomas and Lillian Emondi of Coatesville, Pa. Bob was born and raised in Coatesville and was a 1960 graduate of S. Horace Scott Senior High School, where he played football for four years and was also a member of Meistersingers.
Upon graduation, he enlisted in the Air Force and was stationed at Suffolk County Air Force Base in New York, where he was assigned to the 6th Defense Missile Squadron and Radar Squadron (Special Operations).
After his discharge, Bob was a supervisor for Bell Telephone before retiring in 1992.
He was a past member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Coatesville.
Bob enjoyed playing golf and boating.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Yaron Emondi, of Peckville, Pa., with whom he shared 29 years of marriage; his sister, Deborah Brown, of Los Angeles, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Vincent, who died in 2011.
