I did not know Mr. Dunn personally, but Lyndia Kleeberg, a neighbor told me about him and that he was a dear friend. After reading his obituary, I realized he was a valuable asset to the community and a treasured friend of many who knew him. I would like to express my sympathy and condolences to his family and all who are grieved by his passing.

Mr. Dunn was one of my mentors at Gibsonville High School during the late 1960's. His influence led me to a 32-year career with the U.S. Government. I greatly appreciate his work ethnic, patriotism, and sincere approach to life. He was an inspiration to many students and teachers. He was an all around great man. I'm sure he will be truly missed by friends and family.

Jim was a wonderful cousin. I will never forget how faithful he was to visit my son who died with cancer in 2009. He was a very loving and kind gentleman and will be missed by many.
