Lois Thomason Obituary

Lois B. (Bailey) Thomason, 90, formerly of Sisk Drive, Pawcatuck, and late of 79 Watch Hill Road, Westerly, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2008, at the Watch Hill Care & Rehab. She was the widow of the late Joseph R. Thomason.
Born in Stonington, she was a daughter of the late Raymond W. and Anna (Joseph) Bailey.
Lois was a member of the United Church in Stonington, and she loved to socialize, participate in family gatherings, and travel with friends and family. She was also an avid walker.
Surviving are one son, Robert T. Thomason of Eagle River, Alaska; two daughters and their husbands, Nancy A. and Jack Law of Pawcatuck, and Bonnie L. and Bill Bazydlo of Westerly; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-granddaughters.
She was predeceased by four siblings; and one grandson, Kris Thomason.
Calling hours will be held Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly. Funeral service and burial will be private.
