SWOYERSVILLE — Michael P. Postupak, 48, of Swoyersville, a guest at Village at Greenbriar, died Thursday, March 17, 2016.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, Michael was the son of Carl and Elizabeth (Flanagan) Postupak, Dallas, and was a graduate of Bishop O'Reilly High School, Kingston. Michael was employed by the family business, Postupak Painting, Wilkes-Barre, and was a member of St. Theresa Church, Shavertown, and the Westmoreland Club, Wilkes-Barre.
He is survived, in addition to his parents, by son, Michael Patrick Postupak Jr.; daughter, Molly Kathryn Postupak, both of Pearl River, New York; brother, Carl Postupak and his wife, Katie, Dallas; and nephew, Stephen Postupak.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, April 16, 2016, in St. Theresa Church, Shavertown, with the Rev. James J. Paisley officiating. Interment will follow in St. Ignatius Cemetery, Pringle. Friends may call 10:30 a.m. to service in the church.

The family would like to thank Dr. Gary Nothstein, Hospice of the Sacred Heart and the staff at Greenbriar, especially Annie and Robin for the care they gave Michael.
