I will fondly remember my uncle for always checking up on me when i would be going through a difficult time, how proud he was of me having a good jobas a nurse, how he approved of all the renovations we did on the homestead, especially the kitchen; he would just come and look around and shake his head and say, "they did a nice job", many times during his visits wewould discuss how it was growing up, how nona cooked, how "pa" and him went for walks in the woods, how my dad was a hard worker, how it was when he visited oyr relatives in Italy when he was stationed there.

I knew he liked his glass of water with ice (cold), he expected taffy if u went to the shore, he only liked specific brands and specific foods, he liked to cook, he expected a phone call every so many weeks to check in. On that note my heart is very sad, because i didn't get to make that monthly phone call recently and now thank God I will use all these great memories and talk to him up in heaven.
I will miss you Uncle Ted, and i love you and i realize why u went so suddenly... because you didn't like too much fanfare, Aunt Charlotte and the kids and the rest of your family and friends will hopefully take solace that you passed suddenly on a very ordinary day, doing very ordinary things, just like you would want it
